EFSEN is a Danish company that, according to its own website, supplies UV, UV-LED and electron beam (EB) curing systems and related engineering services.
Guenzo provided external mechanical engineering support to EFSEN across multiple machine-development projects over a three-year engagement.

Guenzo supported EFSEN for three years. Over that time the work spanned multiple machine-development projects, so the engagement was ongoing support rather than a single assignment.
Scope of the work
Guenzo's role was ongoing mechanical engineering support for machine development:
- Mechanical engineering support across multiple machine-development projects
- Mechanical design and CAD work in SolidWorks and Onshape
- External engineering capacity for EFSEN's machine development
SolidWorks and Onshape
The work was carried out in both SolidWorks and Onshape. SolidWorks is Guenzo's main CAD platform, and Onshape is a cloud-based CAD system. Working in both lets an external engineer fit into a client's existing tools, rather than the client adapting to the engineer's.
Why continuity matters
Over a long-term engagement, knowledge of the client's products, design conventions and earlier decisions carries over from one project to the next instead of being rebuilt for each new assignment.
