Sheet Metal Shrimp Counter Machine
Shrimp counter machine designed mainly from metal and sheet metal components, prepared in Autodesk Inventor for fabrication, assembly, and supplier quotation.
Engineering challenge
The client needed a custom shrimp counter machine built mostly from metal parts. The machine required a practical sheet metal structure that could support the counting function, provide openings and access where needed, and be manufactured using standard sheet metal fabrication processes.
Design approach
Guenzo designed the shrimp counter machine in Autodesk Inventor. The design included sheet metal covers, support structure, fabricated panels, mounting points, functional openings, internal access areas, and assembly details. The goal was to create a manufacturable metal machine body suitable for workshop fabrication and final assembly.
Manufacturing considerations
The design was prepared around sheet metal cutting, bending, welding, fastening, and finishing. Flat patterns and bend-ready sheet metal parts were important for production. The machine structure also had to be practical for assembly, maintenance, and supplier quotation.
